Anybody who wants the presidency so much that he'll spend two years organizing and campaigning for it is not to be trusted with the office.

..........It's what we do.  Let us do it for YOU!

It's a new millenium, merely having a webpage isn't going to get you the share of the Internet business that you deserve.  There are plenty of people out there making pretty web sites, but do they actually work?

Aequitas WebWorks can provide you with a total Internet Solution for your business.  We offer State of the Art Design, Hosting, Research, Consulting, and Maintenance that is guaranteed results.   We aren't out to re-invent the wheel, just make it spin faster.

Establishing pricing for web sites, especially complex or large web sites, is not a simple matter. There are many variables which can affect the cost of development, including the number and length of pages, the complexity of page layout, (forms, tables, image maps, etc.), the number and quality of graphics,  the quality of raw material provided by the client, and the needs of the client. These are just a few of the issues a web developer must consider when making a quote on a web site.

Therefore, we takes great care in establishing a quote. We meet with a prospective client for one half hour to discuss the client's objectives, our design philosophies, and to establish the basic parameters of the site. At the end of that time, if the client wants to continue on with the project, we will spend about another hour of paid consulting time to clarify the details of the site and assess the scope. Depending on the scope of the project, we will either make an estimate after this meeting, or develop a comprehensive proposal which establishes the parameters and price of the project, and also serves as the first phase of strategic planning.

Once the estimate has been approved, we will collect all material from the client and turn it over to our web development team. They will begin work on the site, and when they have established exactly what will be involved to complete the project we will prepare the final quote for the site. This quote will fall within 20% (plus or minus) of the original estimate. If the quote is not acceptable to the client, we will return all material and completed coding on diskette to the client and accept payment only for the work completed.

Establishing firm quotes in this manner allows us to have a clear idea of the work involved before quoting a final price. The benefit to us is that we rarely experience cost overruns. The benefit to our clients is that they don't have to pay an inflated price to cover those potential cost overruns. Everybody wins.

As stated above, this procedure is more important for large web sites. Many sites are very clear and straightforward. For those sites, it is quite possible to estimate a budget for a web site based on our basic pricing structure.
